USA Adidas Cup Win

In a strong defensive outing, our U-12 Arsenal premier team won the USA Adidas Cup. The team started the tournament with a 3-0 win against the USA 98 team. In the second game, Arsenal beat the Murray Max 1-0. In the final game of pool play, Arsenal beat Glory FC in a nail-biter on a penalty kick in the last five minutes of the game. The final result ended 1-0 putting the team into the finals. Final results put Arsenal at 5 goals for with 0 goals against (+5). Way to go goalies and defenders on the shut-out in pool play!

In the championship game, Arsenal 97 played the two-year reigning USA Adidas Cup Champions, USA Premier. Arsenal went down a goal early in the game, but ended the half at 1-1. In the second half, Arsenal put another goal in the net ending the game with a win at 2-1. Congratulations Gentlemen on the hard fought game!
